Update: Wizards' big announcement has been revealed to be 'Magic the Gathering - Tactics' a video game partnership with Sony Online.

Mondays' site update saw the now well known "Announcing" image in the Arcana section of Wizards.com. But instead of just being an announcement, it is a notice to visit the site again at noon EST, or 9am PST for the real announcement. Whatever the reason for the "scheduled" announcement, it seems likely to cause their servers to be hit hard and possibly crashed under the onslaught of rabid Magic fans.

Our theories on the real announcement being:

• The Grand Prix 2010 Schedule
• The real name of 'Prosper' the third set in Zendikar
• Another new side project/product to be released
• That Magic the Gathering will be turned into a Disney animated movie...
