Hello happy Commander and Multiplayer fans of aggro and tokens too. This is a sequel to my Top 5 Commanders for Aggro and then Top 5 Support Cards for Aggro. I just built a Budget Commander Aggro deck around Goro-Goro and Satoru. That top card was Craterhoof Behemoth a popular win con for aggro decks ever since first printed and then tokens too, so I thought it would be great to knock out my Top 5 Craterhoof Behemoths for y'all and maybe some Overruns that inspired it!
Honorable Mention
Rumbleweed
This at most 11-drop has vigilance, reach and trampling as an 8/8. Its cost is reduced by land cards in your graveyard so fetch lands or mill brews will drop that considerably. Then it's an actual Overrun on arrival to the battlefield as cheap as one mana if your graveyard has got those lands!
Blossoming Bogbeast
This five-mana splashable 3/3 is next. When it attacks you gain a pair of life and then pump your stuff by your life gain and trample too, so that's a minimum of 2 pumped with no other support. It's a go-wide win con in life gain brews like Soul Sisters or other lifegain brews. Note this is an aggro finisher that gains you life when it swings, so your life total walk rise as you attack thus giving you a cushion to play with for counter attacks.
Overwhelming Stampede
This five-cost sorcery is next and your dorks rise in size equal to your top power, great in decks with smaller creatures or tokens or Voltron or with a high power Commander naturally that's in Green like Rith, the Awakener. And trample too, don't forget that!
End-Raze Forerunners
This eight-drop 7/7 with three nasty keywords of haste, vigilance and trample for evasion is here those are amazing since your beater will remain untapped and cannot be chumped. On arrival it pumps your team +2/+2 and then trample too. Love it much!
#5. Earthshaker Giant
I rate this is a bit better than End-Raze Forerunners but not much, one spot better, since it's cheaper for a smaller 6/6 with trample too, but gives your team trample and an additional +1 size. But it lacks haste and vigilance so it cannot swing the turn it arrives or hold back after it swings, so your milage may vary.
#4. Pathbreaker Ibex
This six-mana 3/3 is my highest scoring that might not always kill dork, here with an attack trigger to pump your stuff by your highest power and then trample too! Great if you've got a few high-power stuff, but if they're just three like this guy that's not going to kill no matter how many dorks you have. Its 6 mana and an attacker trigger without haste so it gives foes some time to kill it, but it's repeatable so it's here at the four-spot.
#3. Triumph of the Hordes
This is a bit unfair and I rarely run it, but this 4 mana sorcery that gives your stuff a power boost, trample and infect can end a game and kill everyone in one hit. It has to be here, right? But many prefer not dying to poison counters. So, your milage may vary.
#2. Moonshaker Cavalry
This eight-drop 6/6 flyer in mono-White is our top scoring White card! This ETBs and your stuff grows by size equal to your critter count and then you'll give them flying too boot! It's a masterclass of ending that game, as long as you have enough dorks. Love it much here, you do too, but flying can be chump blocked and so many might prefer the trample of most of these.
#1. Craterhoof Behemoth
Ah yes...tops of so many lists! It's like Moonshaker Cavalry above with haste instead and gives trample so it can swing this turn and add into the beats. It's a Commander Classic!
There we go! I hope that you enjoyed my take on the top Craterhoof Behemoths and Overruns for Commander and multiplayer. Enjoy it much!
