Overeat these Holidays with Mono-Green Legendary Food with Bears!

Hello folks and happiest of days to each of you! I saw a new muse for me with Bosco, Just a Bear!

Bosco, Just a Bear

As you can see, on arrival he'll make a Food for each of our legendary dorks on a 4/4 five-mana body! Then we can sac them for three mana to toss two counters here and then trample him too! Casual players love Food and tokens, life, and legendary stuff, right? And Food made my legendary dorks should actually be legendary too, right? Right! Ideally 20 non-lands will be Food makers, 20 will be legendaries to make them and then 20 support spells like ramp, answers and card draw too. He'll be a bit of a Voltron win too and then the rest other stuff too.

Mana and Ramping and Lands

We'll start with basic ramp stuff. The legendary leader four-drop 2/2 above can make a 4/4 Bear! Then as we swing with 4 power stuff, we ramp a land tapped for each one that swung! Then that Bear makes a Food on arrival, and then as we sac them we can ramp a land once, but then you'll shuffle him back. Not bad, but not great either.

The Cabbage Merchant will turn opposing casts of non-creatures into Food! But their damage on us will make us sac one. The we can tap two Food for mana. Then that four-drop 2/4 Elanor Gardner will make a Food on arrival and then and then in our end step if we sacked one this turn, we can ramp a land.

Next up are a great ramp pair that let our tokens or Food tap for mana. The three-drop 2/3 legendary lady Jaheira, Friend of the Forest is first and then you can tap all tokens here. Then Night of the Sweets' Revenge will arrive with a Food, and just they'll only tap for it. Then you can sac this with seven mana as a win-con to pump the teams size at sorcery speed equal to our Food count.

Next up are these two Food making rampers. The one-drop flying 0/2 BOP arrives with one and then taps to sac it for any color! Then you can tap it with two to make a Food, and then you can also do that with the legendary land above two mana to tap a dork for Food too.

Many Partings costs one for a Lay of the Land effect that also makes a Food too! Then that three-drop artifact Food Heaped Harvest arrives and when I sac it will ramp a basic land tapped.

We do have a few key lands here like Nykthos or Foutainport to sac tokens to cards or make them too. Tyrite Sanctum will tap with two to make any of our legendary dorks into a God and then give it a +1/+1 counter. Great here to pump our stuff and then note it doesn't read non-God so you can do it over and over again. Then you can sac it for four to give our God an indestructible counter - nasty good! That can be as a combat trick. Secluded Starforge can tap with mana to make a 2/2 Robot or with two at sorcery to make one of dorks get a power pump equal to how many untapped artifacts we tap with it. It's gotta be here.

Here we go next for synergies and win-cons too and such here. That two-cost Lesson is first. We can make a Lesson and then earthbend our Food count another win-con if we've kept them out. Then that three-cost sorcery will sac two Foods for a 7/7 Giant! Or we can make three instead. Then that four-drop FF legendary leader will tutor a land or Bird to our hand. Then when he swings, we can toss a counter on our dork and then double them. I also tossed in ramping and then swinging Sutina to bounce lands too.

The two-drop arrives with a Food and then as other legendaries arrive we can make a Food too! Food and legendaries, yup! Then when we swing, we can sac some Foods to Overrun that many bodies and also indestructible too! Then that three-drop arrives with a Food for each of our foes! Then in our end step we can sac one token (not just Food) for two to make a 4/4 - not bad right?

Next up are another two fun Green enchantments! Seismic Tutelage will enter with a +1/+1 counter on our dork, and then as it swings double and double! Nasty on our leader. Then that three-drop Master's Guidance will when we swing with two or more legendaries toss a +1/+1 counter on two swinging dorks! Then we'll draw in our end step if we have a big power dork. Our Commander counts.

Here are three classic ways to make and break Food. The first one-drop artifact arrives and can be tapped with a mana and cycle a card in our hand for a Food! Then we can tap sac this with four mana to recur a dead dork back to our hand. Then that one-drop middle one taps with no mana to sac a dork for Food! Then if its toughness was at least four, we can make two. Then that two-drop Food Bear makes one on arrival and counts as one too. Then we can spend three mana over and over again to make a non-creature artifact, like Foods 4/4 beaters that turn.

The two-drop legendary artifact dork 3/1 Food Dork Syr Ginger, the Meal Ender is first. He has a bunch of abilities if a foe has a planeswalker - haste, trample and hexproof too. Then when another artifact we control bites it, toss a counter here and even scry 1. Nasty! You can also sac him like a Food but for his power. Then that 3/2 landfall Tireless Provisioner is here to turn landfall into Food or Treasures. Don't forget Treasure if another mana is needed for our Commander or post-answer with tax.

And now three dorks that attack to win con by pumping the team. That legendary four-drop Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma will drop other similarly sized dork costs by 2. Then when he swings, we pump and trample our team too. Then that six-drop Pathbreaker Ibex with a 3/3 size attacks and the entire team is pumped by our biggest dorks size, plus trample, and enough with a fat Voltron to kill an entire game in one hit. Then the three-drop legendary Tyvar, the Pummeler can spend five mana over and over to pump the team your biggest power dork over and over again. You can also tap a dork to make him indestructible too.

And now three game-winning or synergies. The seven-drop 7/7 uncommon Displaced Dinosaurs turns all historic stuff that arrives into a 7/7 Dinosaur. That's Food, Sol Ring, legendary stuff, everything...there's nothing in here that you wouldn't like to grow in size. Then that six-drop 7/6 trample vigilance Feasting Troll King arrives with three Food if cast from our hand! Then when it dies, we can bring it back in our turn with saccing three Food. Yay! Then that three-drop legendary 2/2 Legolas Greenleaf cannot be blocked by small dorks, and then as other legendaries arrive toss a counter here. Then as he smashes for damage we can draw too.

Next up are these two Green synergies on legendary dorks. The legendary 2/3 three-drop will let any tokens arriving to also come with a 1/1 Green Frog! You can sac a Frog with two mana to toss a counter here. Then that Bear size and cost Halfling will make a Food whenever one swings. Love him!

The Bear size and cost Spider-Ham, Peter Porker arrives with a Food and then pumps Bears, Cats, Wolves, Birds and other natural creatures by +1/+1 as a Lord. Then that four-drop Wolf Anara, Wolvid Familiar gives our inestimable leader indestructible to swing and keep it up. Then Halsin, Emerald Archdruid ends games by spending one mana to turn a token into a 4/4 Bear! Just one mana and such - fill the board and then win in one turn or a few with an Alpha Strike outta nowhere.

Now answer time! First are pinpoint removal stuff like Beast Within or this fun two-set of cards. The three-cost instant to start will pseudo-Fight an opposing dork and then make an awesome Food! Then I also tossed in that two-cost instant basic charm since we can Wing Snare, Demystify or draw and make a Food. I also added in Heroic Intervention.

Next are two flashing Equipment auto-equips that also defend our dork when they arrive and then give him protection too. Mithril Coat costs three and equips also for three is the former. It has indestructible and then gives it to the equipped one too. But we can only equip legendary dorks, but here that's tons of them. Then that two-cost equips three Silver Shroud Costume will equip anything and then give it shroud for the turn to shut down interaction and then it cannot be blocked either moving forward.

Next up are fighters on legendary bodies and then mass sweepers that make tokens. That four-drop Doctor's Companion Ace, Fearless Rebel arrives with a 2/2 body and then when she swings, we can sac an artifact to toss a counter here and then fight a defending dork. She's great since you don't have to fight a blocking option if they would kill her, just keep growing her. Then that 7/6 Ape Kogla, the Titan Ape has an ETB fight and then swings to Naturalize for double removal options over time. Then that eight-cost sorcery Ezuri's Predation makes a 4/4 Beast for each foe's dork and fights them. Classic. Then Pest Infestation will destroy artifacts and enchantments equal to XX, and make 1/1 Pests who gain life when they die.

Next up are these great cards draw machines. The legendary Halfling will make another Food when tokens arrive. Then we can sac three Food for a card for no mana. That's great if someone sweeps the board. That two-drop enchantment arrives with a Food. When we sac them we can spend a mana to dig two and draw a permanent which is big here. Then that four-drop uncounterable legendary Squirrel with indestructible 1/1 must swing each turn and then as our dorks deal damage we can draw too. Yay!

Since I have a big size Commander, I tossed in three ways of mass drawing our big creature's power in cards. Rishkar's Expertise does it and then we can cast a free spell this turn for one fewer mana. Then the five-cost Return of the Wildspeaker only does it for our non-Human, but none here have that. Then we can pump non-Humans with Overruns too but no trample. I adore the six-drop Saga The Legend of Kyoshi, which flips into a game-winner on chapter 1 does it, then Earthbends our hand size too.

Next up are two legendary mana dorks that tap and draw. That three-drop Elf 1/2 taps for Green and draws if the spell costs six or more. Then that two-drop 1/3 reacher taps for any color and then in our upkeep draws if we have a big power.

There we go all up and down the block! I love here the obvious but power of Doubling Season to make tons of extra tokens and counters on our leader too. I also love Parallel Lives for tokens and The Earth Crystal for counters here too. Inventors' Fair should work with three-plus artifacts out named Food and normal stuff or be a tutor for an artifact. Oran-Rief, the Vastwood is also pretty strong here too. Nissa and Yavimaya are brilliant here. Bonders' Enclave?

There are tons of great cards here you could add too - Krark-Clan Ironworks? Delighted Halfling? Make Lander tokens to copy like Horizon Explorer and Bioengineered Future. Return from the Wilds? Idol of Oblivion? Trading Post? Rootcast Apprenticeship?
